Utiva Cranberry PACs is a once-a-day pill taken for daily support of the urinary tract. PACs are also the antioxidant of the cranberry and provide other gut health benefits.
For those patients who are chronic and are looking for a stronger approach, we recommend taking Cranberry PACs and D-Mannose. However these ingredients should be taken a few hours apart.
We recommend taking D-Mannose a few hours apart from Cranberry PACs. There is some clinical discussion on how D-mannose and PACs could be limiting each others performance when taken together. This is being further studied.
If you feel there is a likelihood that the acidity of cranberry can irritate you, D-Mannose is an option to consider. It will help naturally flush the bladder and has minimal impact on pH levels.
Side effects of D-Mannose may include bloating and loose stools. There is evidence that D-mannose may impact sugar levels, so people living with diabetes may want to consult a physician first. High doses of D-Mannose may also cause kidney damage.

UTI Test Strips FAQ
The UTI test strips are convenient and easy to use for screening a UTI in the comfort of your home. It is advisable to use it only if you experience any of the UTI symptoms. If you show a positive result, you must immediately see your doctor. However, if you show a negative result but have symptoms, we still advise you to consult with your healthcare provider.
The Utiva UTI test strips are clinically accurate. These rapid tests are similar to what some clinics use to quickly screen for a UTI before doing a urine culture. The results of the UTI test strips have been compared to another commercial test. The study shows 94.4% accuracy for the Leukocyte test and 98.4% for the Nitrite test.
Once you have urinated on the Utiva UTI test strip mid-stream or dipped the test strip in a collection of urine. Start a timer for 2 minutes.
Start off by referencing the colour chart that is on the front of the test strip package. The top pad of the test strip tests for Leukocytes and the bottom pad tests for Nitrates.
You will want to read the result and look for a color change at one minute for Nitrate (bottom pad) and two minutes for Leukocytes (top pad).
Read the results by comparing and matching the test pad(s) to the colour blocks on the colour chart. The chart indicates which colour block combinations suggest a negative or positive result.
If you test positive, you should immediately consult a doctor. If you are unsure of your results, consult your physician and do not ignore your UTI symptoms.
Yes, the best time to perform the test is with the first morning urine. However if that is not possible based on when the UTI symptoms present themselves, you can use this UTI test anytime during the day. The UTI test should be avoided during your menstrual period.
In general, most substances will not interfere with the test. Consult your physician if you are taking antibiotics. Some medications (e.g. Vitamin B2) can affect the colour of your urine and may cause false results. Large quantities of Vitamin C may cause false negative results.
Yes. Under certain conditions, you may receive a negative test result even though you have a UTI. This can be due to a few reasons: your UTI is caused by bacteria that does not change nitrate to nitrite, when urine has not been held in the bladder for more than 4 hours, when taking antibiotics, or when your diet does not include nitrates.
Absolutely! Utiva UTI Test Strips can be used by anyone.

Yeast Balance FAQ
Boric acid is a gentle, natural powder derived from the mineral boron and water. It has been used throughout history as an effective and holistic way to manage yeast infections. It’s simple to use and has become popular among many women seeking a non-toxic alternative to conventional treatments.
Utiva Yeast Balance has been clinically shown to be effective on various strains of Candida (Yeast) species such as Candida albicans and Candida glabrata to help support a healthy vaginal flora.*
Boric acid is a natural, non-toxic ingredient when used vaginally and has no reported drug interactions. It is important to not take this product orally. Call the Poison Control Center immediately if accidental ingestion occurs.
Bacteria and yeast may get a bad rap, but they are both normal and critical for your vaginal health. The two work together to protect your reproductive system and keep a healthy pH (and balance is everything!) A vaginal yeast infection occurs when that delicate ecosystem becomes out of whack, resulting in an overgrowth of a type of fungus (aka yeast) called Candida. Utiva Yeast Balance is a single ingredient formulation that offers triple the benefits by effectively helping to eliminate unwanted odours and abnormal discharge while restoring pH balance to support a healthy vaginal flora.
Using our boric acid vaginal suppositores is relatively straightforward. Here's a quick guide to walk you through the application process:
1-Wash your hands thoroughly before use.
2-Lie on your back with bent knees, or stand with your knees bent. Suppositories are gently inserted into the vagina like a tampon.
3-Using your middle finger gently insert (1) capsule as far as it will comfortably go into your vagina, aiming towards your lower back. Alternative, an applicator can be used. Utiva Suppository Applicators available seperately.
4-We recommend using Utiva Yeast Balance at bedtime so it can work its magic while you sleep. As vaginal suppositories can leak as they dissolve, you might want to wear a panty liner to absorb any discharge. 5-Wash your hands thoroughly after insertion.
We do not recommend the use of Utiva Yeast Balance during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. However, you should see your doctor if you think you may have a vaginal infection during pregnancy.
The product may cause some stinging or burning during yeast infections or when there are small cracks in the vaginal tissue. If you are concerned, seek medical advice.
Sexual intercourse should be avoided when using this product to prevent further irriation or infection. Avoid receiving oral sex to reduce the risk of your partner ingesting boric acid that may still be present in or around your vagina. For best results, wait until you have completed your course of treatment, you are no longer experiencing symptoms, and always consult your health care practitioner.
While there is no evidence to suggest that boric acid suppositories interfere with the effectiveness of barrier contraceptives, we don’t recommend having sexual intercourse while on treatment. The natural acidic component of boric acid may cause discomfort to both you and your partner and cause further irritation.
We don’t recommend using boric acid suppositores while on your period as it might potentially cause discomfort and disrupt your menstrual flow.
While it is generally safe to use a water-based lubricant with boric acid suppositories to help with comfort, it is best to check with your health care provider before applying a lubric while on treatment.
What colour will the leakage/discharge be?Boric acid suppositories can sometimes cause a white, chalky discharge or a slight yellowish tinge to your vaginal secretions. Don't worry, this is normal and is just means that the boric acid is working its magic. It's a good idea to wear a panty liner or pad to help absorb any discharge or leakage that may occur. However, if you experience any unusual or foul-smelling discharge, it's important to contact your healthcare provider, as this could be a sign of a more serious infection.
If you have recurrent yeast infections, it is important to talk to your healthcare provider to determine the underlying cause of your infections and to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to your needs. In some cases, boric acid suppositories may be recommended as a long-term or intermittent use for recurrent yeast infections. However, it is important to use them only under the guidance of a healthcare professional, as overuse can lead to irritation and other side effects.
Although there may be some symptoms that resemble those of vaginal yeast infections, bacterial vaginosis (BV) has a different origin and requires a different course of therapy.Yeast infections and BV are both included in the large classification of vaginal infections known as vaginitis. These infections affect women pretty frequently. Typically, they can be adequately treated without developing any long-term issues.BV is caused by an organism that is normally present in your vagina but has grown out of control. Lactobacilli, the ""good"" bacteria typically outweigh anaerobes, the ""bad"" bacteria. When anaerobic bacteria overwhelm the normal balance of microorganisms in your vagina, bacterial vaginosis occurs."
Suppository Applicators FAQ
A vaginal suppository applicator is a device designed to aid in the insertion of vaginal suppositories into the vagina. It helps ensure proper placement and dosage.
Vaginal suppository applicators help deliver medication or treatments directly to the vaginal canal with precision, ensuring more effective and consistent results while minimizing mess and discomfort.
Our applicators are designed for single-use and should be discarded after use.
While you can use your fingers to insert vaginal suppositories, our applicators offers more precision and may be preferred for hygiene and comfort. Always wash your hands thoroughly before insertion.
